Preloved, Passed On: Winter Appeal for Guildford Action

❄️ Clear your wardrobe, warm a stranger.

This winter I'm collecting warm clothing for Guildford Action, our local homelessness charity. I'm local to Guildford and I believe it's a great cause, so I'm starting it off by donating a load of clothing myself, and I'd love you to join in.

Who are Guildford Action?

Guildford Action is an independent local charity that has worked in the Guildford community for over 30 years. They give people facing homelessness and isolation a safe, non-judgemental place to go, with practical help like food, shelter, clean clothes and healthcare, plus the support to rebuild relationships, confidence and a sense of belonging.

What I'm doing to help

  • Donating a load of my own clothing to start it off
  • Covering the postage on every clothing donation, wherever you are in the UK
  • Washing and checking everything donated before it goes to Guildford Action

What's needed

Most needed, men's clothing: joggers, t-shirts, hoodies and jumpers, socks and thermals, trainers and belts.

Also needed: tents and sleeping bags.

How to donate clothing (postage on me)

  2. I'll send you a free prepaid shipping label
  3. Drop it at the post office. Done ✅

ABIT ABOUT PETE & HOW THIS ALL BEGAN….

I was experimenting with different ideas — selling lace locks for Air Force 1s, crease protectors, and inspired by beanies 🧢👟 I wasn’t making huge profits, but the margins were strong, sometimes turning small spends into 100x returns. More importantly, it taught me how to spot demand, price smart, and move products fast 📈

At the same time, I began reselling auction bags — hunting for hidden gems and undervalued pieces. What started as a hobby quickly became something bigger. That passion turned into a full-blown business built on understanding real value, not just hype 🔍

One of the things I love most is doing genuine deals 🤝 Many items are priced so you can wear them, enjoy them, and still sell them on later for around the same price — essentially no money lost, just good clothing enjoyed ♻️


Today, Pete is a registered limited company and VAT registered ✅ We’ve completed over 8,000 sales and earned 5,000+ five-star reviews, built on trust, transparency, and quality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
