Canada Goose sizing guide: how it really fits

Canada Goose doesn't fit the same across the range. Here's how the main pieces usually fit, based on what we see buying and selling them.

How each piece fits

  • Merino wool (Paterson): fits as a fitted knit, buy your normal size.
  • Hoodies (cotton): oversized. Size down if you want a normal fit.
  • T-shirts: oversized. Size down if you want a normal fit.
  • Joggers: normal fit, buy your usual size.

Tailoring

Goose pieces are often cut big, so many people have them tailored, mainly the sleeves and body length on hoodies and tees. If you're buying a piece you plan to tailor, go for the size that fits across the shoulders and take in the rest.

Buying preloved: use pit-to-pit

Lay a piece you already own flat, measure from armpit seam to armpit seam, and compare with the listing.

Check it's real

Canada Goose has a shiny hologram tag, which is one of the first things we check. We can authenticate yours for £1.49.

Fit varies by item and season. Always check the measurements on the listing.
